. ted rowlands is out front. >> reporter: 65-year-old dr. roger brumbach was in the process of retiring from the department of pathology at creighton university of the on tuesday, he and his wife mary were found dead inside their home. flash back to 2008, 11-year-old thomas hunter and shirley sherman were found dead in a family home connected to creighton. thomas was the son of two doctors. his father, william hunter, worked with dr. brumbach as a pathologist. her brother, like many others in omaha, believes there's a good chance the same person killed all four people. >> if it was anybody other than somebody that worked in the pathology department at creighton, you wouldn't give it a second thought. >> reporter: they found the bodies after a pi on a mover saw mary brumbach and handgun magazine through a door left open at their house. why someone would kill the brumbachs is a mystery. >> when i heard the news last night, i was literally shaken. why would anyone want to harm them? >> reporter: police are keeping the details of the brumbach murders under seal while they investigate. the u
